Opt out of Yahoo Mail Beta 2010 and switch back to normal emails
The previous tutorial explained how you can sign up and test the all new Yahoo Mail Beta 2010; in this tutorial, we will show you how to opt out of the beta and switch back to the "normal" Yahoo Mail - either Yahoo Mail Classic, or the current Yahoo Mail. While the new version of your favorite webmail provider is being worked on, you can switch back and forth (opt in or out) very easily, to check progresses made and new features added, or move back to the old version of Yahoo Mail you were using. This tutorial will show you how to opt out of the 2010 Yahoo Mail Beta trial, and return to a previous version of the service.
Switch back to the old Yahoo Mail (Classic or current "All-New")
Follow these steps to stop using the beta for your emails:
- First, if needed, login to your Yahoo Mail email account.
- Once you have signed in to your Yahoo Mail Beta account, look for the "Help" menu near the top left corner of the screen, as shown on the screenshot below:

- From the dropdown menu, click on "Return to Original Mail" - in your case, this could either be the old Yahoo Mail Classic, or the "All-New" Yahoo Mail service. (If you end up in the wrong one, read how you can switch between Yahoo Mail Classic and All-New Yahoo Mail in just a few clicks!)
- As soon as you do, the 2010 Yahoo Mail Beta will show you a popup that allows you to enter some (optional) feedback that will help the Yahoo developers team improve the next version of Yahoo Mail:

- We recommend that you take a couple of minutes telling the Yahoo Mail team why you are switching back, since your feedback could mean the additional of a great new feature, or the removal of a bad one (or a bug fix). Under intense competition from both Windows Live Hotmail and Gmail, the Yahoo Mail team tends to be very responsive from user suggestions - so take the opportunity to share your opinion!
- Click on the "Continue" button to opt out of the Yahoo Mail Beta trial, and you will be redirected to a "Welcome to Yahoo Mail Classic" page; click on the "Go to Mail Classic" button, and you will end up inside your inbox:

- As mentioned earlier, you can from there easily switch back to the "All-New" Yahoo Mail in a few simple steps - just come back to this tutorial if you want to give Yahoo Mail Beta 2010 another try later on!
